Biography

Dr. Priyanka Korepu is a highly specialized Nuclear Medicine Physician and the current Department Head at Prathima Cancer Institute. With over a decade of clinical experience, she is an expert in molecular imaging and targeted radionuclide therapies, effectively bridging the gap between metabolic diagnosis and clinical treatment. Her expertise spans the critical fields of Oncology, Cardiology, and Neurology, focusing on identifying diseases at a cellular level through hybrid imaging like PET-CT and SPECT-CT before structural changes become visible on conventional scans.

As a certified Radiological Safety Officer (RSO), Dr. Priyanka Korepu has a proven track record of establishing Nuclear Medicine departments from the ground up, ensuring rigorous adherence to AERB and eLORA safety standards. Her leadership extends to managing teams of technical and non-technical staff, driving operational excellence in complex diagnostic environments.
